Assessment Tools and Indicators for Entrepreneurship Education

Assessment Tools and Indicators for Entrepreneurship Education
Project Acronym:
ASTEE
Programme:
Other

Descrizione

The objective of the ASTEE project is to develop a set of common European tools for measuring the impact of Entrepreneurship Education (EE) on students’ entrepreneurial competences across all educational levels. The tools are based on the identification and definition of key learning outcomes at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels.

The goal of entrepreneurship education is to give people the knowledge, skills and attitudes to act in an entrepreneurial way. In order to determine the degree to which this goal has been reached, it is essential to have a tool for assessing the impact of entrepreneurship education.

Based on previous research and on the identification of indicators, the project partners have developed questionnaires for the three levels and the following age groups: 10-11 year-olds, 16-17 year-olds, and young people of 20 years or older.

The goal of entrepreneurship education is to give people the skills, knowledge and attitudes to act in an entrepreneurial way. To achieve this, entrepreneurship education has evolved into a concept for both the content and methods of teaching and learning. Entrepreneurship can be approached not only as a course or subject, but also as a theme that can be embedded in all subjects at every level of education.
