In this course you will familiarize yourself with the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and learn to implement them in your daily teaching practice. When you have finished this course you will be able to redesign (part of) your curriculum on the basis of a thorough analysis of your target group, school context, relevant background literature and other relevant sources.

UDL Guidelines 2.0: Principle I. Provide Multiple Means of Representation

This course will focus on Principle 1 of Universal Design for Learning.

UDL Guidelines 2.0: Principle II.Provide Multiple Means of Action and Expression

Kirjeldus:

This course will be offered online and will focus on UDL principle 2.
Besides we will offer tools and suggestions to find out about the individual needs an expectations of your target group.

Hands-on sessions

Kirjeldus:

This module gives you practical, hands-on training activities that build on the concepts and skills introduced in the previous modules.
It will provide the following skills:
- Appreciate the benefits of applying UDL in the classroom
- Self-reflect/check whether you apply UDL in the classroom
- Be able to redesign part of your curriculum based on UDL
- Be able to use UDLnet Inventory, so as to search UDL resources and practices
- Be able to contribute your own UDL resources and practices
