Georgakopoulou Eleni is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Pedagogy at the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy, Psychology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a subject of "Semiotic Systems and Students’ Cognitive Development". Her scientific and research interests focus on cognitive knowledge-, the importance of cognitive fields and the role of semiotic system in learning. Elena Georgakopoulou has graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Faculty of Philology (Studies in Classical Philology). She has done her MA in Theory, Practice and Evaluation of Educator’s Work: Educational Design and Teaching, offered by the Faculty of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the University of Athens. She is a member of research teams in many Greek and European Research Programs (Creations, Student Parliamentary Science, Learning Science through Theater). She has presented scientific articles in conferences and scientific journals on Pedagogical Sciences, Teaching and Educational Practices, and has participated in seminars and summer schools on Didactic and Pedagogical Sciences.
