My name is Amalia Chompi. I am an English teacher and I have been teaching for 23 years. I work at Crete University Pilot Senior High School in Rethymno. I have served at both primary and secondary schools of General as well as Technical and Vocational Education. I am a graduate of the English Language and Literature Department of the Philosophy Faculty of Athens University and have a Msc degree in Language, Literature, History & Culture of Medieval & Modern Greek Literature Department of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Granada, which has been recognized by D.O.A.T.A.P. I have awarded a certificate as a very good computer operator by both the Crete University and the ECDL Hellas and been trained for EFL Teaching using a variety of methods including ICT and Multimedia in Heraklion and abroad, specifically at Crete Training Centre and Wales and Brighton Universities. I am very interested in their use in EFL Classroom so that the teaching provided can be improved. I have repeatedly participated in Environmental Education Projects and European Exchange Projects, such as Lingua. Finally, I am 48 years old, married and have three children.
