In our days nearly every aspect of Music education is defined by electronic media such as computer applications, CDs, DVDs, MP3s, YouTube, etc. More and more the way we conceive music is defined by our ability to reproduce it simply by pressing a "Play button". New software is designed to alter aspects of pre-recorded material or synthesize new one giving a new definition to the term "musical instrument".

In any case a teacher is always present to distinguish the difference between Music as a Live performance event instead of a recorded or fully e-based activity.
