Every year, on the last Friday in September, 1,500,000 visitors in more than 300 European cities participate in the Researchers' Night, an initiative of the European Commission, aimed at familiarizing the public with the wonderful world of research. The National Technical University of Athens for his fifth consecutive year, is organizing the Researchers' Night at the NTUA on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Averof emblematic building of the Historical Campus of Patision from 5pm to midnight.
The main objective of the Researchers' Night at the NTUA is to promote the work of researchers and to highlight to the general public the importance and the innovation of their achievements, the role of the Greek public university in science, as well as its contribution to society and its development country.
The Cartography Laboratory of the NTUA will participate this year with a presentation of the results of the VISTE program, among others!
