The Open Discovery Space project supports the teachers’ planning of engaging lessons by providing access to high-quality, trustworthy teaching materials. Furthermore, ODS intends to stimulate the developing of innovative teaching materials by implementing a high qualitative contest between teachers. The ODS Contest engaged teachers in a more enthusiastic approach of the development of innovative and engaging teaching scenarios.
The participants, interested teachers, were expected to design, develop and upload their teaching/learning scenario in their selected theme. The ODS Contest was organised in one stage. The best three teaching scenarios are rewarded the ODS prize. The selection procedure was between the teachers that have submitted their teaching scenario; each teacher had the right to choose (vote for) any of the submitted teaching scenarios for the first prize, except its own. The three learning scenarios, which received the most votes, are the winning ones. All the teaching scenarios are publicly available in a digital gallery.
