National contest winner (LV): Eco-friendly island
On the 10th of February 2015 there was a ceremony of awarding Latvian ODS contest winners in Riga City Council Town Hall. The ceremony was organized by Miksike in cooperation of the City of Riga.
All together 23 teachers were invited to the ceremony, who submitted their learning scenarios and learning materials within the frames of the ODS National Contest. From Estonia and Latvia all together there were 22 scenario submissions.
The winning scenario had 2 authors: Violeta Lepina and Irina Vasiljeva from Rinuzu Secondary School. The title of their scenario is "Videi draudzīga sala" [Google translation: Eco-friendly island].
