The facilitators presented the challenges to be addressed during the session. These challenges were related to the fields of environmental education and entrepreneurship.
- How might combine the physical and virtual world(s) to promote "green/organic" education?"
- How might we bring together tearchers and practitioners to co-design educational programs that will lead to the development of a new generation of "green" organic agriculture companies?"
To help the participants through the whole process two experts in their fields were invited to act as interviewees and provide participants with useful feedback on the challenges. Mrs Carmelo Garcia (Researcher, Regional Agricultural Government of Castilla-La Mancha) was allocated in the group that dealt with challenge (i), whilst Mr. Manuel Pajaron (Agricultural Advisor) provided his valuable input and knowledge about entrepreneurship in rural areas (ii). Having completed the interviews, the participants were asked to share the notes they kept on a common space and discuss them with the rest of the group. Over six ideas were gathered for each challenge to be used as food for thought in the session to follow.
