Forensic Science

Pupils are given a senario and presented with a "Crime Scene" which has been prepared by the teacher in advance. They have to look at the roles of people involved in investigating crime and by using forensic science techniques and team work investigate to find which of 4 suspects do they think has committed the crime and write a report. The first lesson is an introduction to forensic science and the roles of different people in investigating crime. It then has upto 6 different types of evidence which can be collected and studied depending on the equipment and time available. Finally, the pupils will write a report or prepare a presntation as to whom they think has committed the crime and why.
