CMS Virtual Visits offer students, teachers and the general public a unique opportunity to explore the experimental site of the CMS detector. Through a web-based videoconference, CMS scientists interact with visitors in their native language, explain the physics and technology behind the experiment, and answer their questions.
The technical requirements for taking part in a virtual visit are:
Recent computer with a (preferably wired) network of minimum 1.0 Mbps
Video projector and a sufficiently dim room
Microphone and a noise cancellation unit (highly recommended)
